Sophomore Seth Catchpool placed fifth in the 112 weight class at the regional wrestling meet in San Antonio, Feb. 12. Catchpool’s overall record was 42-14 this season.

“Last year I was pretty good, and I’ve improved a lot,” Catchpool said. “I met most of my goals.”

The top four at the regional competition advanced to state, making Catchpool the alternate.

Coach Brad Bresnehen credited Catchpool’s success to “hard work, determination, and great practice partners.”

“I felt like I competed well,” Catchpool said. “But I had to change my goal of getting to state.”
