Murphy named runner-up 6A Hitter of the Week

Senior Conor Murphy had his strongest hitting weekend during the LISD tournament, March 6-7.

In four games, Murphy was perfect in the Hutto loss and finished the tournament 16 of 21, with a .762 batting average. He had two doubles, a triple and scored 10 runs.

“Conor is doing extremely well,” head baseball coach Paul Cochran said. “He was the 6A hitter of the week runner up. He had the second best of the week.”

The organization D-BAT named Murphy the runner-up 6A Hitter of the Week, March 10.
