The UIL Social Studies team took first place at the Waco Midway UIL meet, Saturday, Feb 14. Three members of the team placed in the top six. The Current Events team took second with two people placing.

“Current Events was very much a surprise. We just went in and took the test and the kids were outstanding,” sponsor Michael Hjort said. “Social Studies did outstanding with Brandon Walker almost getting a perfect score.”
