Turning 18 can be a very exciting time. The first taste of real freedom is here and independence has finally come. Below is a list of some of the exciting things to look forward to when the big day arrives.

 

  • Go to an 18 and up concert
  • Open  your own bank account
  • Get a credit card
  • Buy a car
  • Sign your own contracts
  • Get a tattoo
  • Buy a house
  • Rent an apartment
  • Buy a lottery ticket
  • Vote
  • Enlist in the army
  • Buy fireworks
  • Sue someone
  • Check self out of school
  • Buy spray paint
  • Get a business license
  • Adopt a dog
  • Be on a jury
  • Write your own check
  • Change your name
  • Get married
  • Get restrictions lifted off of your license
  • Handle alcohol at a restaurant
  • Get insurance
  • Secure a loan
