Senior reminders

May 21, 2015

Attention seniors – graduation is quickly approaching. There’s a lot to get done and dates to remember, so here is a list of some basic things you need to know.

Cap and Gown – More than 100 seniors still haven’t purchased their caps and gowns. There’s a $25 late charge at this point but you need something to graduate it. Delivery will be on May 26-27 in the cafeteria during all the lunch periods. To order, go to www.balfour.com.

Graduation Practice – This is mandatory for all seniors who plan to walk the stage. There is only one practice, and that will be June 4 beginning at 9 a.m. in the competition gym.

Graduation – Most importantly of all, the Class of 2015 will graduate June 6 at 12 p.m. at the Cedar Park Center. Family and friends will not need to purchase a ticket, but will pay $5 per car for parking.

Project Grad – Project Graduation is an all-night event that happens the night of graduation, June 6. It is a parent-chaperoned, drug-, alcohol- and smoke-free celebration for graduating seniors. The event is free and will include food, entertainment, games and athletic activities. Participating graduates can start showing up at 11 p.m.
