The things we see in life, make us. They develop us. They shape us to be the person we are today. Every experience we have whether it be a serious family loss or a simple paper cut you had this morning, it’s all experience that makes us act simple but different ways.  And it never stops. Until the day we die, we’ll always grow different from the way we were just a day or even an hour ago.

We look in the mirror very harshly. Every day we act a certain way to feel content. Although we never are. We will never reach that point. It’s what’s human, what’s natural. At all hours of the day we feel a different feeling, a different emotion. So how could we ever be content? Contentment is impossible.

Your average person, teenage or adult, searches for that characteristic in themselves that says who they are, but we only look for the bad ones. Even when we have great thoughts about ourselves they don’t always stick. We look past the good in us too much. There’s more to us as people than what others see.

Searching for who you are or the person you want to be in life shouldn’t be the focus because every day you’re changing how you do things and your old ways. Every day you’re learning something new. Even if it’s bad you learn to do it better next time.

The main focus in life should really be about being happy, having fun. It shouldn’t be about how everyone sees you and trying to be something to please the social eye starring at you. What you are and how you look shouldn’t matter to anyone or you yourself. Whether it be how you act, what you like, how you look, who you’re dating, etc. We get so caught up in all of the bull that everyone throws around that we forget about just having a good time and not talking about someone else and gossiping. Where you go in life and how you come to be, whatever type of person you are is irrelevant to everyone else. It most definitely shouldn’t be a thought that brings you down all times of the day.

We all are people who start from not knowing anything to learning new things. Humans are going to make mistakes, it’s normal. And of course, we all learn from the odd decisions we’ve made. In good time we all grow up and we all become better than we were earlier in life. So don’t focus on who you are, or who you’re going to be, just focus on living life as it comes and learning from mistakes. Doing that will lead to become the person you were meant to be. The person you never thought you would be. And it’ll be great.
