Ronald McDonald House

You’ve probably seen the Ronald McDonald houses placed around the school, but do you know what they are actually for? The Ronald McDonald house is a non-profit organization that houses families with children that are critically ill and need a place to stay. Rouse is collecting tabs off soda cans to help raise money for the organization. Ronald McDonald house sells the tabs to pay for the patients’ and their families’ rooms.

When a family’s child is sick, parents need to find medical attention for them, even if it is located far away. Ronald McDonald house provides a temporary home for children and families while receiving care.  At every house, they provide home-cooked meals, private bedrooms, and playrooms for the children. While there, they are also given access to specialized medical treatment for little to no cost.

The Raider goal is to fill two houses by May 21st. It is an easy way to help our community and the children in need.
