Freshman Helena Castle finished the cross country season at state, taking 33rd at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock.
“It was a good experience and I couldn’t of gone this far without my supporters and teammates,”Castle said.
Castle qualified for state after finishing ninth at regionals, Nov 6.

“She’s a student of running, she competes really well and is fun to coach,” head coach Kelly Thompson said.
