Life is hard, though we may never know why,
But it gets harder as the days go by.
Throughout the day we may behave
In such a way God knows we are saved.

But you can’t just quit when it goes and gets tough.
It takes you here. It takes you there.
All you need is a little prayer.

Brightest nights or darkest days
God’s promise will remain the same.
