In 2006, Blake Mycoskie created and designed TOMS Shoes to help children in need. While traveling the world, he saw first-hand what having no shoes in under-developed countries was like. After befriending children in Argentina, he started TOMS with the One for One approach. For every pair of TOMS that is purchased, a new pair is given to a child who really needs them.

They may be a growing fashion trend, but TOMS prove to be more than just a cute and comfy shoe. Since its beginning, TOMS have given shoes to more than 400,000 children. Next time you’re buying a new pair of shoes, consider TOMS. You and a child in need will be more than satisfied.

TOMS can be purchased at Whole Earth, Whole Foods, and of course,  www.tomsshoes.com
