Nominees for Homecoming dukes and duchesses were announced Friday, Oct. 9

“It feels great to get nominated for duchess,” junior Ashley Matos said. “I’m nervous about walking onto the field because if I have spirit paint all over me, I don’t want to get it on my dress.”

Students nominated classmates during Advocate this week. Now, each class has the opportunity to vote for their final choices on Tuesday. Voting will take place in the cafeteria during all three lunches.

“I really didn’t expect to be nominated, but I’m excited to see what happens,” freshman Bailey Kerns said. “I’m sure it’ll be fun.”
