Four cast and crew members receive awards at One-Act Play bi-district

Senior Angel Moraga was named to the All-Star Cast at the UIL One-Act Play bi-district competition.

Four students won awards after competing in the UIL Bi-District One-Act Play Contest, April 1. The cast won these awards with the play, The Mariner.

“I feel that we performed really, really well and I could not be more proud,” junior Julia Gwin said. “It was the best company and the best show that I’ve ever participated in.”

Senior Tyler Roberge received All-Star Technician, senior Chet Hamilton received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast, junior Julia Gwin received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast, and senior Angel Moraga was named to the All-Star Cast.

“Obviously to even get an award is awesome because people recognize you,” Hamilton said. “I wish I had gotten an All-Star Cast.”
