In their final meet before district, eight people placed in 10 events at the Round Rock Winter meet, Jan. 8. Overall, the team took third out of four teams.

“Swim team is like a giant family,” sophomore Sydney Stauber said. “We swim together, eat together, and all get along. The team is very fun to be on because no matter how good or bad you do in an event, the team is always there to make you work harder and push yourself further so you don’t get a bad time again. It’s a fantastic sport to keep you in sharp as well as shape character. It requires a lot of discipline and a lot of work. We always have the best time and greatest memories.”
