“I don’t make resolutions, I think if you want to make a change that you should do it, whether it’s the New Year’s or not. I understand that New Year’s is a great time for people to evaluate their lives and to make changes, but I think you shouldn’t have to wait until January 1st, because there’s 364 other days in the year that are perfectly adequate for making life changes.” -Emily Tannert, Band Director

“My 2015 New Year’s resolution was to set one for 2016, a good one. That way I’d actually have a life and actually do things right, except, come the first week of 2016, I’ve already broken that, because the three times I was invited out to do things I said no and went and slept instead.” -Ronnie Urkuski, 11

“My resolution was not to procrastinate, and so far I haven’t broken it.” -Katie Whelan, 11

“I like to make New Year’s resolutions, but I almost never keep them. My New Year’s resolution this year is to run a mile or so every day and so far I’ve kept up with it.” -Shelby Wilson, 11
